What has changed in the 1.36.2 update
Most of the changes are aimed at improving the usability of the app, not only in the desktop version, but also on mobile. Here are the changes that have appeared:
New task list view on mobile devices
In the mobile view, the list of tasks and subtasks can be displayed from now on in a list familiar from the full-size app. This will allow you to display more details in a more condensed size:
New role on the project
From now on, you can perform the Role of Project Manager. If a message like this appears:
Ask your administrator about what exactly this role means in the particular service location you are using.
Important changes for the Administrator in the 1.36.2 update
In this update, there are a few items to look out for if you manage the service. These are not only visual changes, but also new capabilities for you and your users. Let's go into the details:
New role on the project - Project Manager
This role is positioned in the power inheritance above the executor, but below the manager. What can it perform? What the lower roles and what you assign permissions to in your configuration. Why was this role created? Some customers were reluctant to assign the Manager role to close access to detailed configuration - for this group, 2 roles with the ability to create tasks was a bit too little.
New look and capabilities for managing permissions
In permissions, we have implemented a tabular appearance to improve readability. However, the new functionality of group permissions should not be overlooked here. This way you can highlight selected users and give them additional permissions.
This can be combined with a Role on the project - to use the permission you then need to meet both conditions or assign capabilities only to the selected group:
This completely changes the rules of the game. From now on, specific functions can be accessed by individuals regardless of their role on the project.
