Description of changes from June 7, 2026
Task Estimation Changes
We have expanded task time estimation to include three values:
- Opt. (Optimistic) – the time required under the most favorable conditions,
- Norm. (Realistic) – the expected and most likely completion time,
- Pes. (Pessimistic) – the time estimate accounting for potential obstacles and risks.
This allows for more accurate planning and schedule analysis, providing a better reflection of the actual task execution process.
Simplified Time Entry
We have changed the way working time is entered. Instead of separate fields for hours and minutes, there is now a single field that supports a text-based format.
For example:
- 4h 30m = 4 hours 30 minutes,
- 1d 4h = 1 working day and 4 hours,
- 1d 4h 5m = 12 hours and 5 minutes (assuming an 8-hour working day).
The new format makes it faster to enter time and more convenient to define estimates and report worked hours.
Upcoming Deadline Reminders
We have added the ability to receive notifications about upcoming task and subtask deadlines.
Previously, the system only notified users when a deadline had already been missed. Now you can receive reminders in advance, helping you plan your work more effectively and avoid delays.
Example configurations:
- 30 minutes before the deadline,
- 3 hours before the deadline,
- 2 days before the deadline at a specified time (e.g. 3:00 PM).
Reminder settings are available under User Profile → Notification Settings, where you can specify when and for which events you would like to receive notifications.
